Good morning!
In my Friday email to students this week, I plan on wishing them an April break that is both productive yet filled with plenty of rest. I’ve been hearing from many students that they are just finally “getting used to this” and are finally getting into a routine of some sort, so I hope this vacation doesn’t disrupt that and make them go back to square one on the Monday after vacation - but I also know that the uncertainty and stress of the past few weeks have taken a toll on many students and families, so a break for some much needed self-care is definitely welcomed. I am hoping we can all find that balance next week.
Below are some resources for activities families can do together - the colors and font choice may seem to scream “this is for elementary school students!” but most activities are suitable for middle and high students, while also working for families with younger kiddos.
Activities for kids and families, and tips for parents:

Family Discussion Cards:

As an aside, in addition to being available via email, Google Meets, and phone calls, I wanted to let you know that I am also open to good old fashioned letter writing as well, so if you are looking to give your student a creative outlet while also working on their letter writing skills, let me know!
Have a great week and a great April break.
Best,
