Gooooood morning!
In these uncertain times, there are certainly lots and lots and lotsssss of things we can complain about. But, some would argue (myself included) that uncertain times such as these call for focusing on what we can be thankful for. Even when we have a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day (I love that book so much!) there are things that we can be thankful for each day. They don't have to be super huge things like winning the lottery or buying a new house, but simple things like snuggling with your pet or having your favorite meal for dinner. Big awesome things are cool, too, but it's important to be able to highlight something every single day that you are thankful for. Science even tells us that consistently practicing gratitude makes us happier, so you should do it!
With that, my challenge to you is to watch this video:

and then start on your own gratitude journey. Below is a link to a handout you can use, or you can just jot things down in a google doc or a notebook. You can share with me if you would like, but it's not mandatory.

I am thankful to be able to connect with you all, even though we're not in school. I am also thankful that you are all healthy and practicing good social distancing so you can stay that way!
Have a great day!!!
