Goooooood morning!
I figured we should start from the beginning - what is mindfulness?

Being present sounds easy, but how many of you were doing something else while watching that video? I'll admit it - if you could see me, I would be raising my hand right now - I had to restart that video a couple times before I gave it my full attention. There are ALWAYS going to be distractions and things that take your attention. Practicing being mindful can be tough; sometimes it's really hard to just be present in the moment.
So, based on what you learned from the video, I challenge you this week to:
*Listen to understand, not to respond.
*Take some time to have a "right now" moment. Go outside or get comfy on your couch, and just BE. No phone, no tv, no laptop, and just sit for a few minutes and notice your surroundings and how you feel.
In the next few weeks, I'll be sending you more info on how to be mindful through some easy meditations, which help with lots of things, such as easing anxiety!
Have a fabulous day!!
