For Today’s Talk Tuesday we’re going to literally talk about who you can talk to.
—I’ve met with many of you virtually during this shutdown and will continue to do so
—I know you’re communicating with your teachers so keep doing that
—I gave you the Crisis Hotline number when we first shut down (888-568-1112) if you are experiencing a crisis emergency
—and a new resource for those of you 14 and up is NAMI Maine’s Teen Text Support Line.
This is an AWESOME, FREE resource specifically for teens 14-20 and staffed by people 23 and under. This is available every day from noon to 10pm. This is NOT a crisis line, this is a hotline available for you to talk about your feelings and get support from another young person. For all the details, check it out here:
